Question 1

How is NFT digital art delivered after I buy it?

Accepted Answer

All digital assets and NFTs are delivered instantly. Once your order is confirmed, minting happens automatically on Polygon via our Thirdweb integration, running on our own backend infrastructure. You'll get a confirmation email with access details or wallet instructions right after checkout — no shipping fees or delays for digital items.

Question 2

Can I return or refund an NFT?

Accepted Answer

No. Once the minting or delivery process has started, digital assets (including NFTs and digital art) can't be returned or refunded. By completing your order you're consenting to immediate digital delivery, which under UK/EU consumer law waives the usual 14-day cooling-off right for that item. This applies even for customers in the UK or EU, where physical goods would normally get a 14-day window.

Question 3

How long does physical merchandise take to arrive?

Accepted Answer

Physical items (mugs, t-shirts, hoodies, totes, prints) are custom-made to order through regional print-on-demand fulfillment. Allow 2–5 business days for production, then 3–7 business days transit once it ships — you'll get a tracking link by email the moment it's dispatched.

Question 4

Do I have to pay customs or import fees?

Accepted Answer

Usually not. Orders route automatically to the closest regional fulfillment center to you (UK, USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, or New Zealand), so most orders within those markets don't incur international customs fees or import duties.

Question 5

Can I return physical merchandise?

Accepted Answer

Yes — you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. It needs to be unworn/unused, in original packaging, with proof of purchase. Email rigid@stiffcompetitionart.com to start a return; items sent back without an approved request won't be accepted. Custom, personalized, or sale items aren't eligible for return.

Question 6

My order arrived damaged or wrong — what do I do?

Accepted Answer

Inspect your order as soon as it arrives and email rigid@stiffcompetitionart.com right away if anything's defective, damaged, or incorrect, so it can be sorted out.

Question 7

How long do refunds take once approved?

Accepted Answer

Once a return is approved, you're automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Bank/card processing can add a bit more time on top of that. If it's been more than 15 business days since approval, email rigid@stiffcompetitionart.com.

Question 8

What sizes do the t-shirts and hoodies come in?

Accepted Answer

Apparel is fulfilled via Gelato's standard print-on-demand sizing — check the size chart on each product page for exact measurements before ordering, since fit can vary slightly by garment style.

Question 9

Who are the Stiff Competition characters?

Accepted Answer

Six 1994-era action figure archetypes: Major Wood, Rear Admiral, Hammerin' Hanky, The Grip, Slick Willy, and Velvet Python — an ongoing story property, not a one-off origin drop.

Question 10

What is an NFT?

Accepted Answer

An NFT (non-fungible token) is a unique digital asset recorded on a blockchain — in our case, Polygon. Owning one means you hold a verifiable, one-of-a-kind digital collectible tied to your wallet, distinct from a regular image file anyone could copy.

Question 11

What can I do with my NFT once I own it?

Accepted Answer

It's yours to keep, display, or trade. Once it's minted to your wallet, you can hold it as a collectible, or list it for sale/trade on a secondary marketplace like OpenSea. What you do with it after purchase is entirely up to you.

Question 12

What is OpenSea?

Accepted Answer

OpenSea is the largest third-party marketplace for buying, selling, and trading NFTs, including ones minted elsewhere (like Stiff Competition's). It's not run by us — once your NFT is in your wallet, you're free to list it there if you want to sell or trade it.

Question 13

How do I actually claim or access my NFT after buying it?

Accepted Answer

After checkout, you'll get a confirmation email with wallet instructions. Minting happens automatically on Polygon via our Thirdweb integration — you'll need a compatible wallet (like MetaMask) connected to receive it. Full step-by-step details are in our NFT Purchase Guide.

Question 14

What major products does Stiff Competition sell?

Accepted Answer

NFT digital collectibles (headshot editions, Sports Series, Travel Series, and the higher-tier Prestige Series) plus physical merch — mugs, t-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, and museum-quality art prints, all featuring the six Stiff Competition characters.

Question 15

What are NFT traits?

Accepted Answer

Each NFT carries a set of traits describing what makes that specific edition unique — which character it features, the background/expression variant, the series it belongs to (headshot, Sports, Travel, Prestige), and its edition tier. Traits are what collectors use to gauge an individual NFT's rarity within the collection.

Question 16

What do the SC traits mean?

Accepted Answer

Alongside the visual traits, each SC NFT carries a set of parody "stat" traits in the same spirit as 90s trading cards — things like Friction Force, Innuendo Intensity, Tactical Girth, and Structural Rigidity, each scored numerically. They're part of the collectible's playful character rather than a technical spec.

Question 17

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Standard checkout payment methods available at checkout — major credit/debit cards, and options like Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal where shown. NFT purchases are paid the same way as merch; you don't need your own crypto to buy one.

Question 18

How do I track my order?

Accepted Answer

For physical merchandise, you'll get a tracking link by email as soon as your item is dispatched from the fulfillment center. For NFTs, your confirmation email with wallet/access details arrives immediately after checkout since delivery is instant.

Question 19

Do you offer discount codes or promotions?

Accepted Answer

Join the mailing list on the site for updates on drops and any promotions — that's the best way to hear about anything currently running.

Question 20

Can I buy an NFT and physical merch in the same order?

Accepted Answer

Yes — NFTs and physical merchandise can be purchased together in one checkout. Your NFT mints instantly as usual, while the physical items follow the standard print-on-demand production and shipping timeline.

Question 21

How do I contact Stiff Competition?

Accepted Answer

Email rigid@stiffcompetitionart.com for anything — orders, returns, NFT questions, or general enquiries.

Question 22

What law governs my purchase?

Accepted Answer

All purchases and site use are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with courts of England and Wales having exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
